Zhejiang University Alumni Association Australia (ZJUAAA) is a not-for-profit, non-political alumni community that connects Zhejiang University (ZJU) graduates across Australia. We are dedicated to building a dynamic platform to foster lifelong friendships, promote professional growth, and establish a vibrant alumni network.

Our History
Inherited from its precursor dated back to the 1990s, ZJUAAA was founded in 2010 by a group of passionate Zhejiang University (ZJU) alumni led by Ms Ying Xie.
Motivated by a shared commitment to fostering lifelong connection, professional support, and a sense of belonging, they established the foundation for what would become a vibrant alumni association serving ZJU graduates across Australia.
The first official gathering was held in Sydney, bringing together alumni from diverse backgrounds and marking the beginning of our journey.
We are proud of our alumni community- individuals who continue to make meaningful impacts in Australia and beyond, across diverse fields and industries.

Official Meetings
Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The event is held annually on 8th September. (rescheduled to next business day if 8th September falls on weekend or public holiday)

Online: A Zoom link will be provided to registered participants in advance

All registered members are welcome to attend the meeting, either in person or online.
In-person attendees are entitled to full participation, including voting rights.
Online attendees may observe the meeting via live Zoom meeting but cannot vote directly.
Members who are unable to attend in person may submit a proxy form to authorize another eligible member present in person to vote on their behalf.
Zoom links will be distributed via email at least 2 weeks prior to the meeting.
Contributions Committee Quarterly Review Meetings
Meetings are scheduled for the first day of March, June, September, and December each year. The specific dates and times will be confirmed and announced in advance of each meeting.
