Zhejiang University Alumni Association Australia (ZJUAAA) – 2025 AGM & New Committee Members Announcement

Dear Alumni in Australia,
The Zhejiang University Alumni Association Australia (ZJUAAA) successfully held its 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM (Sydney time) at Level 12, 157 Walker Street, North Sydney. During the meeting, the following new committee members were elected:
• President: Jerry Huang
• Treasurer: Yu Long
• Secretary: Kai Su
• Vice President (Sydney): Peizhong Chen
According to the Constitution, the Advisory Committee has now been officially formed. All former Presidents will automatically become Advisory Committee members after their term ends.
• Current Advisory Committee member : Ying Xie
The first committee meeting of the new term was held on September 24, 2025, at 9:00 AM (Sydney time), during which the President nominated additional committee members. The nominations were approved by vote.

The detailed minutes of both meetings have been circulated to all registered members by email. Updated profiles of all committee members will be gradually published on our official website zjuaaa.org.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to:
• Former Secretary Hanyu Liang, for dedicated contributions to alumni events and public relations.
• Former Vice President (Melbourne) Haidong Chen, who organized numerous alumni activities and generously hosted gatherings at his home.
• Former Vice President (Brisbane) Xia Zhang, for uniting and supporting alumni in Brisbane.
We truly thank every alumnus who has contributed to the association, as well as every “Qiushi” alumnus (a proud reference to Zhejiang University’s spirit of “seeking truth”), who has supported our activities with selfless dedication. Together, we look forward to building an even stronger sense of community and belonging among our alumni.

澳大利亚浙江大学校友会 2025年度会议暨新一届理事会成员公告

在澳洲的校友们好，
澳大利亚浙江大学校友会于 2025年9月8日上午10点（悉尼时间），在 悉尼北区 Walker Street 157号12层 成功举办了 2025年度会议（AGM）。会上顺利选举产生了新一届理事会成员，名单如下：
• 会长：Jerry Huang 黄坚
• 财长：Yu Long 龙昱
• 秘书长：Kai Su 苏凯
• 悉尼分会长：Peizhong 陈培忠
根据章程，顾问委员会现已正式成立。顾问委员会成员由历任卸任会长组成，任期届满后将自动成为顾问委员会成员。
目前顾问委员会成员：Ying Xie 谢迎
随后，新一届理事会于 2025年9月24日上午9点（悉尼时间） 召开了第一次理事会会议。会议中，会长提名了新增理事人选，并获得表决通过。
