Hongfei Fang graduated from Zhejiang University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Automation from the Department of Control Science and Engineering. In 2006, he moved to Australia and earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Curtin University in 2010.

Leveraging his strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Hongfei built a successful career in the Australian financial services industry. He is currently the Principal Broker and General Manager of one of Australia’s top mortgage brokerage firms, leading a high-performing team and serving clients nationwide. Recognised for his expertise and integrity, he has helped thousands of individuals and businesses achieve their property ownership and investment goals.

Since co-founding the Perth branch of the Zhejiang University Alumni Association of Australia (ZJUAAA) in 2014, he has served as its President, supporting alumni connections and helping to organise various activities that foster friendship and promote the Zhejiang University spirit in Western Australia.
