Delegation from Zhejiang University’s College of Education Visits ZJU Alumni in Australia
On the morning of 10 July 2026, a delegation of faculty members and students from the College of Education, Zhejiang University, visited the Zhejiang University Alumni Association Australia in Sydney for an engaging exchange focused on education, alumni development, and international collaboration.
The event began with introductions, allowing participants to learn about one another's academic backgrounds, research interests, and professional experiences. Members of the visiting delegation shared insights into Zhejiang University's latest developments in physical education, sports science, artificial intelligence, big data, and interdisciplinary research.
The delegation included undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students whose research spans a wide range of fields, including sports psychology, healthy ageing, rhythmic gymnastics, intelligent sports engineering, and physical education. Their diverse academic backgrounds reflected the College of Education's commitment to interdisciplinary innovation and talent cultivation.
Representatives of the Zhejiang University Alumni Association of Australia then introduced the Association's history, mission, and the guiding "4S" philosophy: Serve Alumni, Serve Society, Serve Our University, and Share Success. They also shared the Association's flagship activities and highlighted its ongoing efforts to support alumni, strengthen ties with the University, and contribute to the broader community.
The visit provided the delegation with a deeper understanding of the work of the Zhejiang University Alumni Association Australia and the local educational environment. It also laid a solid foundation for future collaboration and exchanges between Zhejiang University and its Australian alumni community.
The event concluded with group photographs and warm wishes for continued cooperation. Both sides expressed their shared commitment to upholding Zhejiang University's spirit of "Seeking Truth and Pursuing Innovation" while promoting educational, cultural, and alumni exchanges between China and Australia.
2026年7月10日上午，悉尼迎来了一场愉悦而充实的校友交流活动。浙江大学教育学院师生代表团与澳大利亚浙江大学校友会代表在悉尼欢聚一堂，围绕教育实践与校友发展主题展开深入交流。
活动在轻松愉快的氛围中拉开帷幕。双方成员首先进行“绕桌一圈”的自我介绍，迅速拉近了彼此距离。浙江大学教育学院师生结合各自经历和研究方向展开了交流，让我们有机会了解到浙大作为高等学府体育教育方面的最新发展动态。毕业于北京体育大学的带队林老师一袭长发一双笑意盈盈的明眸，让我惊讶于体育教育团队中有如此秀外慧中的优雅女博士；另一位带队的邹老师青年有为，是浙大最年轻的博导之一，30岁就开始带博士生了，研究方向是大数据模型，把最前沿的AI技术与科学的体育教育和体能训练相结合。来访的教育学院学生有研究体育心理学、健康养老，艺术体操、智能体育工程等方向的博士硕士和本科生，放眼望去，可谓“谈笑有鸿儒，往来无白丁”。我打心眼里喜欢这些充满青春朝气与活力的高素质母校来访师生。
随后我们澳洲校友会的资深理事前任会长谢迎师姐、剑萍师姐和我代表澳洲校友会，向来访师生简单介绍了澳洲校友会的发展历程，4S理念和定位(Serve alumni，Serve society，Serve Our university，Share success)和丰富多彩的校友会活动, 并从历史沿革、地州地理、人口特征、经济活力与独特文化等方面分享了澳大利亚概貌。
自由交流环节，大家一边品尝澳洲特色小吃，一边畅谈学习、工作与生活的点滴，咖啡香气与欢声笑语交织，现场气氛温馨融洽。
此次座谈不仅加深了母校师生对澳洲校友工作与当地教育环境的了解，也为未来中澳两地校友互动交流拓展了空间。来访的林老师表示回去会向院领导建议把校友会交流作为来访行程中的必要一环，加强宣传像澳大利亚校友会这样的“回馈母校、回馈校友”的特色服务，因为她觉得这种校友交流座谈对来访的师生很有意义。
活动在悉尼灿烂冬阳中圆满落幕，双方互致祝福，合影留念，期待未来深化交流，携手践行浙大“求是创新”之精神，共促中澳教育与文化交流事业蓬勃发展。
